Enthusiast Gaming Partners with Coldplay and ZHU to Debut the Remix of ‘Higher Power’ on Twitch

Enthusiast Gaming is partnering with Coldplay and ZHU to premiere the remix of Higher Power on Twitch, DJ Harley Fresh also appearing.

Looking for something to do this Thursday, May 20, at 7 p.m. ET that involves Coldplay, Grammy-nominated artist ZHU, and streaming sensation DJ Harley Fresh (aka Fresh)? Then Enthusiast Gaming has you covered. The company announced today that it will be livestreaming the debut of ZHU’s remix of Coldplay’s new hit “Higher Power” on Team Luminosity’s Twitch stream, providing fans and anyone else who wants to tune in a chance to hear the “hypnotic” remix.

Those who attend the hour-long event will not only get to see a performance by ZHU and Luminosity Gaming team member DJ Harley Fresh but also Coldplay themselves, as the band will make an appearance. The tie-up will bring together music and gaming content and deliver something pretty unique. Coldplay will also become honorary members of Team Luminosity.

“We are thrilled to announce this strategic relationship with Coldplay,” commented Adrian Montgomery, CEO of Enthusiast Gaming. “Coldplay are timeless, cross-generational musicians, and we look forward to serving as a bridge between them and our global gaming audience. While this is the first collaboration of its kind for us and in the gaming space, our platform provides immense opportunity for similar experiences in the future.”

“Higher Power,” which debuted earlier this month, is a fun, ’80s pop-style song from the band that veers the band back towards chasing pop trends after its more experimental 2019 alt-rock album, Everyday Life. It should be interesting to see what ZHU does with it.

The event will take place on May 20 at 7 p.m. and run for one hour. Tune in here.
