Ken Levine’s New Game Is in “Later Stages of Production”

Ken Levine, the mastermind behind BioShock and BioShock Infinite, has a studio called Ghost Story Games — a team that has quietly been working on something for the past few years. According to a recent job posting by the studio, the project is an “immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements” and is “in the later stages of production.” Oddly enough, this is about as much info as we have about the project, as it hasn’t been officially revealed. Even if it’s half as good as BioShock, it’s sure to garner an audience.

The PlayStation.Blog featured a lengthy deep dive into how NBA 2K21 will use PlayStation 5’s new DualSense controller, and based on what was discussed, it seems impressive. The biggest standout is the fact that the DualSense’s triggers will depict a player’s energy or fatigue level by giving more or less resistance depending on how tired they are. The controller will also vibrate “at various intensities depending on the strength of the players involved and the severity of the impact,” NBA 2K21 Game Director Mike Wang said in regards to player collision. While this is exciting in and of itself, it’s also a sign for the possibilities of how the DualSense could be used for future games.
