December 2020’s PS Plus Lineup Has Been Revealed
Today, Sony revealed the PS Plus lineup for the month of December 2020, and the trend of getting two PlayStation 4 games and one PlayStation 5 game kind of seems to be continuing. Starting on Dec. 1, players will gain access to Rocket Arena and Just Cause 4 for PlayStation 4 and Worms Rumble — a 32-player arena combat multiplayer game — for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Remember to download November 2020’s games (or place them in your library) by Dec. 1.

Nintendo Will Be Shutting Down Super Mario Maker’s Servers Next Year
Remember the Wii U? Nintendo just announced that players will no longer be able to upload courses in the original Super Mario Maker for Wii U in the not-so-distant future. While the game will still be playable offline, many of its online components will be shuttered on March 31, 2021. Nintendo noted that you’ll still be able to play courses you’ve downloaded prior to the server closure, so keep that in mind. The game itself will no longer be available to purchase digitally on the eShop as of Jan. 12, 2021.
Beginning on 3/31, it will no longer be possible to upload courses in #SuperMarioMaker for #WiiU. Please see the link below for more information. Thank you to all the players for supporting the Wii U version of the Super Mario Maker game since 2015!https://t.co/aPtUh8QVd6 pic.twitter.com/bZahjD3yK7

The PS5 Was Sony’s Biggest Console Launch Ever
Sony announced this morning on Twitter that PlayStation 5 was its “biggest console launch ever.” It’s unclear what this means, exactly, but it’s a safe bet the system is performing well for Sony. The company also explained that more PS5 systems will be coming and to check with your retailers for stock before the year’s end. Due to “unprecedented” demand, the system has been incredibly difficult to find, so hopefully more will appear on store shelves later this holiday season.
We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever. Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers.
