Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers Get a Free Trial of Disney+
Today, Microsoft announced yet another perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, and it’s one Star Wars fans are sure to enjoy. Starting today, subscribers will gain access to a free 30-day trial of Disney+, giving you the ability to watch a slew of beloved Disney films and shows like The Mandalorian. This offer is available until Jan. 31, 2021 and is only valid for new Disney+ members.

Surprise PS5 Remote Play App Appears on PS4
Many have recently spotted a new app that has just gone live on PlayStation 4 — one that allows you to control your PlayStation 5 from your PS4 via remote play. This streaming functionality is great for those who still have a PS4 in the house, apparently letting you play PlayStation 5 games on it via the power of the internet. This is not confirmed though, as the DualSense is required to play PS5 games. There are clearly unanswered questions right now. In any case, your remote app results will vary depending on your internet speeds, but this is a neat feature that will probably come in handy for some, somehow.

Next-Gen Version of Dead By Daylight Will Be Available Alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X
The next-gen version of Dead By Daylight will be ready to go alongside the launch of the new systems. That’s right — it will be available for Xbox Series X on Nov. 10 and PlayStation 5 on Nov. 12, offering 4K visuals at 60 FPS. The game’s developer, Behaviour Interactive, also announced that more free content drops will come in the future, featuring overhauled map changes and improved visuals.

Halo 4 Will Come to MCC This Month
We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating — Halo: The Master Chief Collection is the gift that keeps on giving. Today, we learned that Halo 4 will be added to the collection on Nov. 17, featuring 4K graphics at 60 FPS. This is the final Halo campaign to be added to the collection and is a great game to hold you over until Halo Infinite. Check out the launch trailer below!
PS5 Games Were Reportedly Almost More Than $70
A recent Bloomberg article reports that Sony originally contemplated pricing certain PS5 games at higher than $70 before settling on just a $10 increase. Game executives who relayed this information requested to be unnamed due to how evident it is that consumers do not love these price hikes, but inflation and the meteoric rise in cost to produce AAA games are offered as reasons for the increases we are seeing. Fortunately, Sony opted not to go higher than $70, but even the $10 has garnered a fair share of criticism. Games like Demon’s Souls, NBA 2K21, Godfall, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are all priced at $70, marking the first video game price increase in 15 years.
