Dead Cells Has Surpassed 3 Million Copies Sold, Alongside “Update of Plenty”
Popular roguelike Dead Cells has surpassed yet another major sales milestone, surpassing 3 million units sold worldwide since its release in August 2018. This news comes alongside the game’s latest update, titled Update of Plenty, available now on PC and soon on consoles.
It features lots of smaller quality-of-life improvements such as weapon nerfs, buffs, and tweaks to the in-game economy. Congratulations to the developers at Evil Empire and Motion Twin for the success with Dead Cells.

Xbox One Summer Game Fest Will Include Demos for a Slew of Titles
From July 21 – July 27, Microsoft will host an Xbox One Summer Game Fest Demo Event, featuring demos for at least 75 games. Some of the titles are as follows:
- Cris Tales
- Destroy All Humans!
- Haven
- Hellpoint
- Skatebird
- The Vale: Shadow of the Crown
- Raji: An Ancient Epic
- Welcome to Elk
The demos will be playable from the Xbox dashboard — many of which are akin to early press betas for games that won’t be out for a while, so plenty is subject to change in the final products. The demos will only be available for one week, so make sure you keep checking in to play as much as you can.
