Ex-Xbox 360 and Current EA Sports Boss Takes a Jab at Sony Over Home

You can take Peter Moore out of Microsoft, but apparently you can’t take the Microsoft out of Peter Moore.

The former Xbox head and current president of EA Sports took a jab at Sony for continuous delays with its planned online community, Home.

Asked whether he would now work with Home given his new job, he quipped, “Yeah; I just wish it would ship.”

“I [previously] questioned it a little bit, whether I’d want to wander around there. Phil Harrison showed me a demo – it’s very cool, but let’s go already. And so I’m disappointed that it’s been pushed back a little bit again.”

His comments came barely a day after SCE head Kaz Hirai apologized for the ongoing delays while also defending the decision to give Home more time.

Even when throwing in a positive bone, Moore couldn’t resist returning to the same criticism.

“But I really hope it gets going and becomes that portal to the PlayStation Network and we can utilize it. But boy, I just wish we’d get going.”
