Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Is a Multiplayer Blast with Friends – Review in 3 Minutes

Recommended Videos

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is an online battle royal party game developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital. Gameplay has you battling your way through a variety of mini-games, with most guaranteeing to eliminate a set number of players. The games consist of both solo and team-based objectives that usually boil down to one of three categories: race to the end of an obstacle course, fight over a limited resource, or achieve an objective, such as jumping through the most hoops that move around the map. Whether a game is elimination or on a timer, each game usually takes a minute or two to complete, assuming you survive until the end.

As a solo player, I was tired of Fall Guys after a few hours due to the limited mini-games and often unpredictable physics and controls. When playing with one or more friends, the fun of sharing the experience overshadows those issues. If they add more mini-games and increase party size so you can play with more than four friends, Fall Guys will continue to be an enjoyable party game to play with friends well into the future.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PlayStation 4 for $19.99 and is currently available for free with PS Plus.
