Farming Simulator Drops Console Beets Next Month

Farming Simulator, the game that shook the agritainment genre to its very core, comes to consoles in September with brand-new content that will change the way you think about digital soil.

You wanted it – you waited for it – and now it’s almost here! Farming Simulator, the first name in farming simulators, is just about ready to drop its hardcore beets on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. And this isn’t just some warmed-over “plow it and plant it” rehash of the PC classic, nosiree!

The console versions of Farming Simulator are coming to the party with their “fair share of new content,” including an exclusive American environment and plenty of new vehicles – plenty! It’s got all the milkshakes that bring the boys to the farmyard – big names like Lemken, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini and Case IH – and is that an Arcusin I see? Holy cow!

All the classic gameplay is still intact, too – you’ll grow crops, bring in the harvest, sell your product and struggle against bad weather, poor soil conditions, faulty equipment and the cruel capriciousness of your deity of choice as you work endless 18-hour days to keep your farm from being seized by the bank in a huge, open world!

Farming Simulator will be playable at Gamescom, which runs from August 21 to 25 in Cologne, Germany – the hometown of Deutz! – and then brings the animal husbandry into your living room on September 4. That’s just three weeks away! Xbox 360! PlayStation 3! Farming! I can barely contain myself!
