The Rules
You must be a member of The Escapist to participate, with an N-Gage Player Account in your profile. If you aren’t already, please sign up HERE.
Play against others in player vs. player combat to raise your fame score on Reset Generation. The players with the top 3 fame scores will win medals/badges. Play as much as you want and rack up the wins!
Get Started
You will need to create a free Reset Generation login account with a screen name. You can do this either on your PC or through your Nokia N-Series phone (no, you can’t use your iPhone). Once this screen name is valid YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR ESCAPIST PROFILE PAGE. If you fail to update your Escapist profile, you will not be able to receive a medal.
From Your Phone: Hit the bottom left button on your keypad to go to the main menu. Go to applications, N-Gage, and from inside the N-Gage application, launch Reset Generation.
From Your PC: Go to http://arena.n-gage.com/ and click on “Register” under quick links in the right hand column. Create your player name.
Quick Controls
It is highly suggested that you play though the single-player tutorial to prepare you for your upcoming matches. Six (6) multiplayer matches are needed to begin gaining fame points.
Phone:
- Use up/down/left/right keys to move and target
- Tap center button to turn blocks
- Hold center button to drop blocks, fire cannons, move your hero and use your hero power
PC:
- Use up/down/left/right keys to move and target
- Tap the Control Key to turn blocks
- Hold the Control Key to drop blocks, fire cannons, move your hero and use your hero power
The event begins on Wednesday, August 20th at 12:00 PM EST and ends on Friday, August 22nd at 3:00 PM EST.
Awards
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals/badges will be given to the top 3 fame scores.
Start It Up!
To begin playing click on “PLAY NOW” ON THE IMAGE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE. Please have all other tabs and browser windows closed for this application to work properly. Other browsers may have a tendency to slow the game down.
Permanent Banning
If you are found cheating in any way, shape or form, you will be permanently banned from all Themis Media properties and have all previous medals, badges and titles stripped.
