GreedFall 2: The Dying World announcement trailer Nacon Spiders tactical elements

After having seen success with GreedFall in 2019, developer Spiders has officially announced GreedFall 2: The Dying World for PC and unspecified consoles in 2024. The follow-up will continue the choice-based RPG direction of the first game, but this time, players can expect more tactical combat. Spiders has not yet elaborated on what that will entail. However, GreedFall 2: The Dying World is a prequel set three years before the events of the original. Players will fill the role of Teer Fradee, a character you create, after they are uprooted from their island home by colonizers and moved to the continent of Gacane.

In this old world ravaged by war and scarred by the Malichor plague and the political scheming of the different factions, you must regain your freedom and control of your own destiny. Using diplomacy, cunning or combat, as well as help from allies you make, it’s up to you to end one man’s ambitions of conquest, which could spell the end for the continent and your island.

Spiders and publisher Nacon’s GreedFall 2: The Dying World is aimed to appeal to every kind of RPG fan. It won’t release for PC and consoles until 2024, but until then, stay tuned for updates.
