Hatfall, Zero Punctuation’s official hat-putting-on simulator, is making its debut on Steam Greenlight, but we need your help!
We were proud to announce the launch of Hatfall: a Zero Punctuation-themed browser and mobile game, designed by Yahtzee himself. Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw’s quick-witted lightning-fast Zero Punctuation reviews are a staple on The Escapist. We’ve received a lot of feedback from players like yourself and thanks to your support, it’s time to try to launch Hatfall on Steam Greenlight.
Hatters Gonna Hat edition is a downloadable version of the original web game, Zero Punctuation: Hatfall. Born out of the popular video series from The Escapist, ‘Zero Punctuation,’ Creator Ben ‘Yahtzee’ Croshaw developed a high-energy game of skill and, well, hat wearing. The ‘Hatters Gonna Hat’ edition will feature brand new mini-games, new content and updates to all existing mini games so that it is fully optimized for PC.
Why Steam? Users asked for it! The #1 question when we released the web version was “why not a download?” By bringing this game to Steam, we have the opportunity to further develop the game and bring it to a broader audience. Check out the updated description on our Greenlight page to learn more about our plans for the Hatters Gonna Hat download edition.
Still haven’t played Hatfall or never heard of it before? The premise seems simple, hats are falling from the sky (because, why not?) and it’s your job to catch them on your head. But don’t let the simplicity of this concept fool you. Look out for anvils and refrigerators falling from the sky; the multitude of clones running around trying to confuse you; and that f**king short-tempered wizard. Your job is to master the art of putting on multiple hats and you must acquire them by ANY means necessary – catch them; steal them; embezzle them; seduce them if you must, just get the damn hats.
Vote for Hatfall today on Steam Greenlight and help us bring a bigger, better Hatfall to PCs everywhere. We can’t do it without you.
