“I am 8 Bit” Art Collection to be Displayed at GDC

The 2007 Game Developer’s Conference announced they’ll be showing the San Francisco premiere of the 8-bit Group original art exhibition.

I am 8 Bit asks 100 artists each year to create an original piece of artwork inspired by their recollections of classic videogames.

The goal of showing the I am 8 Bit exhibition at the conference is for traditional artists to meet the “artists” of videogame design to share their perspectives on the icons that made the videogame industry what it is today.

The I am 8 Bit exhibit will be displayed in the street level lobby of the North Hall of the Moscone Center.
