Injustice 2 hits the Americas on May 16.
The follow-up to Injustice: Gods Among Us will be arriving this May.
The release date was first teased by director Ed Boon on Twitter, and was later confirmed by the official NetherRealm Studios account. It’s worth noting that the tweet specifies that this is the release date for the title “in the Americas.”

In Injustice 2, players will “continue the epic cinematic story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together, but struggle against those who would restore Superman’s Regime.” NetherRealm has stated that Injustice 2 will feature “the biggest DC Universe roster a fighting game has ever seen.”
Injustice 2 was first announced this past June, after leaked promotional posters made their way online. A gameplay trailer released shortly after. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
