The funny thing about history is that the two measures of a great civilization are how many people you killed and how cool you looked while doing so. The Nazis, with their penchant for gas chambers and the sharp, frame-flattering lines of Hugo Boss, score pretty much perfect tens in both fields. There’s already a strange idolization of the Nazi aesthetic, and it’s especially noticeable in anime culture, and that’s just going to get more acceptable to the general public as time passes.
