The subtitled Killer is Dead trailer posits a simple question: Is it better to have 14 arms holding guns or one arm that is a gun?
Yesterday, Grey Carter told us about Grasshopper Manufacture’s upcoming Killer is Dead, an action game about an assassin who kills other assassins. “It’s a personal story, not one that’s conscious of the chaos going on in the real world at the moment, but you might get more than a taste of that in the end anyway,” Executive Director Suda 51 explained, not really explaining anything at all.
Fortunately, we now have a trailer to help it all make sense! There’s this Zappa guy, see, and he’s a hit with all the chicks, but he’s also a stone-cold killer who’s got a job to do and despite having a machine-gun for an arm, he seems to do a lot of it with a giant sword. Meanwhile, Cyborg Delroy Lindo has assumed control of the Yakuza and he’s not happy, because Judge Death has swiped his Beats and unleashed a Krogan on Mega-Tokyo. Or something like that.
And in the next exciting episode, “A beautiful woman who has devilish hands!” 14 of them, to be precise. That’s hot.
Killer is Dead is currently slated to come out in Japan this summer.
