Let it Die Celebrates One Million Downloads With In Game Event

The free-to-play PlayStation 4 exclusive has been downloaded more than one million times.

Let it Die, the free-to-play title from Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo Online Entertainment, has surpassed one million downloads since the game launched during the PlayStation Experience 2016 in December.

In celebration of this milestone, players will receive daily Death Metal log-in bonuses from January 6 to January 8, which can be claimed from the Reward Box in-game.

“Thanks to all of you, we’ve reached over a million downloads! It’s time to celebrate with some violent good times,” reads the announcement on the game’s Facebook page, along with a promise that “more event details are coming soon.”

Set in post-apocalyptic 2026, the grungy, bloody survival title finds the player navigating through the game, starting off with nothing but your underwear and…well, that’s it. Our head streamer, John Markley, has played quite a bit of it on our Twitch channel, and archives of the videos are available if you want to check it out before jumping in.
