Tarsier StudiosLittle Nightmares II takes all of the outstanding elements of the first and sprinkles in improvements. The plot takes a bit to unfold and is open to interpretation, similar to in the initial release. The presentation is still mysterious and dark throughout. The gameplay is nearly identical, and the heart-stopping sense of dread remains intact. Whether you die to a terrifyingly freakish enemy or a platforming error, it’s all a part of the process. Occasional deaths aside, the sequel delivers a fantastic experience well worth the price and six-to-eight-hour time investment.
