Mario Strikers: Battle League is a sequel to the GameCube original soccer spinoff, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch with a release date of June 10, 2022. An announcement trailer for the long-awaited follow-up premiered as part of today’s February 2022 Nintendo Direct, showing off a cartoony cinematic video before upping the ante with full-on gameplay footage. Players can customize characters with gear to go into each match with favorable stats. Additional new features include the online Club mode and the all-powerful Hyper Strike move.
