Minecraft‘s console iteration continues to mature at a swift pace.
Just like its PC counterpart, Minecraft for Xbox 360 has been enjoying frequent updates since its release this past May. The upcoming (though yet undated) seventh title update will add a host of new features both for the hardcore block-smashing crowd and newcomers to the game.
For those unacquainted with what Minecraft is all about, the update will add a new Tutorial World that teaches some of the finer points. Animal breeding, enchanting, and experience points are also being added to further flesh out game for more experienced players. Villagers will also now populate parts of the world. For those looking forward to the eventual addition of “The End,” – where Minecraft takes an even more surreal and frightening turn – you’ll have to wait a bit; The End won’t be added to the Xbox 360 Minecraft experience until the 8th update.
