New trailer scheduled to drop on ESPN during National Championship game
Marvel’s hotly-anticipated sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron previously debuted its first trailer during the hitmaking studio’s own Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Now, we’ve learned that the follow-up will be showing up somewhere else entirely – a football game.
Marvel/Disney has confirmed that the second trailer for the superhero team-up epic will premiere during ESPN’s broadcast of the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 12th, 2015. No details have been provided as to what point in said broadcast the trailer will actually run. The game will be between #4 ranked Ohio State and #2 ranked Oregon, with both teams boasting a 13-1 record for the season.
In addition, Marvel is also hyping plans to premiere the first full teaser for their other Summer 2015 release, Ant-Man, during the January 6th debut of the ABC miniseries Agent Carter.
