New Crash Bandicoot Game Teased for Game Awards, Crash 4 Coming to PC Steam Wumpa League pizza teaser

The last time we heard about Crash Bandicoot, its then-developer was shifted to working solely on the Call of Duty franchise. This development might not be so dire, however. A YouTuber by the handle of Canadian Guy Eh has uploaded a video of himself receiving a curious package. The item, which turns out to be a pizza box, confirms that a port of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is heading to Steam on PC on October 18. Not only that, a new Crash Bandicoot video game looks like it is going to be unveiled at The Game Awards 2022 on December 8.

Here’s the video with the package teaser:

An Aku Aku’s Steam-in Pizza Shack receipt spells out the upcoming Steam port for Crash Bandicoot 4. At the bottom of the paper, it also says, “Hungry for more? Try our new Wumpa Pizza for $12.08!” It’s quite a sly reference to the air date of The Game Awards 2022 and to what seems like a new Crash Bandicoot game, as Wumpa Fruit is the series’s most notable collectible.

What new Crash title will be revealed? Could it be the rumored multiplayer game, “Wumpa League“? Possibly, though freelance journalist Liam Robertson implied the project had an uneven status. I doubt Crash 5 is happening so soon, though. As for me, I just want Toys for Bob to make Spyro 4. I loved how it handled the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which was my first time experiencing the series.
