New Massively Multiplayer Football Management Game From SEGA

Sega Europe Ltd. announced the future release of Football Manager Live, a massively multiplayer online game from developer Sports Interactive that has its roots set in the award winning Football Manager Series.

Football Manager Live allows you to build a club from scratch to compete against other players with online. You can set up mini leagues among friends, bid in player auctions and compete in live matches 24 hours a day, year-round.

Matches are real-time and have a range of tactical options for managers to control. An in-game chat option allows managers to enhance comments on the virtual touchline, and aspiring managers can view their competitors and learn their tactics.

Away from the stadium, players can choose their club name, colors, badge and pitch size, and will be responsible for balancing finances and buying and selling players with an auction style transfer system.

Football Manager Live is due for release in Spring 2008 with a beta test set to launch in May 2007.
