The footage came with a lengthy letter, giving fans an update on Nine to Five as a whole while also laying out the alpha period’s guidelines. Redhill says work on the game is still “very much a work in progress,” with environments and weapons still in need of polish and balancing. Further adding to that disclaimer, the team says “some menus are incomplete and can be tricky to navigate, crafting and progression systems are on their first iterations, character visuals are rough, and some of the visual language/VFX needs work.”

The alpha test serves as a way for Redhill to hone the core gameplay. The developer encourages players with feedback to reach out through Discord, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Nine to Five is currently only planned to launch on PC.

The Escapist had a chat with Redhill CEO Matias Myllyrinne earlier this year, where the studio head detailed what sets Nine to Five apart from other tactical shooter games.
