Speculation continues as MCV reports the Wii will sell for £149. Nintendo UK has refuted the rumor.
After MCV posted a rumor that the Nintendo Wii would ship around Thanksgiving in the US and November 24th in the UK, Nintendo UK boss David Yarnton told GamesIndustry.biz that, “They’re not far off, but they’re definitely not right.” Nintendo continues to promise firm launch details late next week.
In other Wii news, IBM has announced that the Wii CPUs are already on the way to Nintendo, signaling that production is going smoothly.
