We have known for some time now that Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will each reprise their Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, respectively, and earlier this month, it was revealed that Game of Thrones actor Indira Varma had joined the cast as well. Meanwhile, the rest of the new cast members include Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby), Bonnie Piesse (Love Eterne), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Rupert Friend (Hitman: Agent 47), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Sung Kang (Fast Five), Simone Kessell (Reckoning), and Benny Safdie (Pieces of a Woman).

Disney has not yet disclosed each actor’s role in Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, Edgerton and Piesse appeared in Revenge of the Sith as Uncle Own and Aunt Beru, so it’s safe to say that they will also reprise their roles in the Disney+ show.

Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, though little else about the show’s story has been revealed. We do know, however, that Deborah Chow, who directed The Mandalorian’s “The Sin” and “The Reckoning” episodes, will also direct Obi-Wan Kenobi.
