Oscar Isaac is reportedly in talks to star as Moon Knight in the character’s upcoming Marvel Disney+ series. Via Deadline, the Star Wars and X-Men: Apocalypse star is in negotiations to play the lead as Marc Spector, and Umbrella Academy’s Jeremy Slater has been chosen to develop and lead the show’s writing team. Moon Knight is still in its early phases, as Marvel and Disney still need to select a director.

We first caught word of the Moon Knight series in August 2019, when She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel shows were also revealed. The other two series have recently found their leads, too, with the former starring Tatiana Maslany and the latter starring newcomer Iman Vellani. Isaac’s portrayal as Spector and the other two heroes are confirmed to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some capacity, though how specifically remains unclear. Just last month, it was revealed that Nick Fury will also receive the Disney+ TV show treatment, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as the one-eyed commander.

Marvel has more than these three Disney+ projects in the works, as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and What If?… are planned to premiere within the next year. Moon Knight still remains without a release window, which is to be expected considering how early on the series is into production.
