Q-Games, known for PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Shooter, will show three new projects at E3 2011.
If you’ve never played any of Q-Games’ PixelJunk titles, you’re missing out on some of the most unique downloadable experiences the PlayStation 3 has to offer. Though the developer has typically announced one major project at a time, Q-Games says it’ll have three new titles to show off at E3 2011.
Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert recently tweeted: “E3 coming up… it’s exciting! Three of our games are at the show! That has to be some kind of record for a small company like Q right?” The studio won’t have a booth at E3 itself, though Cuthbert revealed that the titles will be on display at the booths of their respective publishers.
Cuthbert confirmed that one of the titles will be PixelJunk Lifelike, an interactive music visualizer that uses PlayStation Move to let people “play” their music. Lifelike‘s trailer is attached to this post.
In addition to the PS3’s PixelJunk series, Q-Games has developed DSiWare titles and also helped put together the DS’s Star Fox Command. I would be shocked beyond words if one of Q-Games other titles didn’t involve Nintendo in some way, perhaps with that newfangled 3DS or its digital eShop set to launch during the first week of June. Or maybe Star Fox for the Nintendo Project Cafe/Touch/Feel? Whatever these other two projects are, they’ll probably be quirky and/or awesome coming from Q-Games.
