The PS4 will be $50 cheaper starting tomorrow.
Sony has announced that it’s cutting the price of the PlayStation 4 in the US and Canada starting October 9 by $50. Effective tomorrow, you can pick up a PS4 for $349.99 in the United States and $429.99 CAD in Canada.
“Since the launch of PS4, we have been thrilled with the amount of gamers jumping into the world of PlayStation for the first time,” a post on the PlayStation Blog reads. “If you haven’t made the jump yet, and you’re starting early on your holiday wish list, I have good news – we’re dropping the price of the PlayStation 4 system in the U.S. and Canada.”
“Our goal at PlayStation has always been to provide the best gameplay experiences at the best value, and we feel this new compelling price will open the doors to even more gamers that have yet to purchase a system.”
Sony is also pushing a number of bundles heading into the holiday season, including the 1TB Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 bundle and the Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle, as well as the option of taking home Star Wars Battlefront, The Nathan Drake Collection, NHL 16, and Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars along with the system.
