The September 13, 2022 PlayStation State of Play had a surprising amount of new IP in its list of games, all things considered. But it also had a couple excellent franchise surprises with the reveals of Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon: Ishin. - Tekken 8 has been announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, and the real-time graphics looks nuts.
- Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Enhanced Edition is coming to PSVR 2.
- Demeo is an award-winning tabletop dungeon crawler coming to PSVR 2.
- Like a Dragon: Ishin is releasing globally on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC in February.
- Hogwarts Legacy receives a PlayStation-exclusive quest with the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop.
- Pacific Drive is a run-based first-person driving survival game for PS5 and PC.
- A first look at PlayStation Stars digital collectibles was revealed.
- Synduality is a sci-fi third-person shooter game with mechs from Bandai Namco for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
- Stellar Blade is the new name for Project Eve from Korean developer Shift Up, and it is a PS5 console exclusive arriving in 2023.
- Rise of the Ronin is a Koei Tecmo / Team Ninja open-world action RPG PS5 console exclusive for 2024.
- God of War Ragnarok received a story trailer and a pretty cool-looking new controller.
