The Pokémon Company has revealed another Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP) trailer, this time highlighting Team Galactic and the Gym leaders to be found in the Nintendo Switch remakes. Additionally, the footage gives us a quick look at legendary Pokémon Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, three psychic lake guardians found in the original Diamond and Pearl games on Nintendo DS.

The Sinnoh leaders put on display are Snowpoint City Gym leader Candice and Sunyshore City Gym leader Volkner, who both sport updated styles for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Candice brings her Abomasnow to battle, dealing out damage with Ice-type moves, while Volkner, who will serve as the Electric gym leader, will use his Luxray to electrocute foes. Not to be outshined, though, is Team Galactic, whose bowl cuts look better than ever in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, while commanders Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn feature similarly spacey hairstyles and attacks. There’s also Team Galactic boss Cyrus and his Weavile to watch out for, with The Pokémon Company explaining that he “detests human minds and emotions, finding them defective.”

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch for Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2021. We’ve seen quite a bit of the remakes since their reveal, including teases of changes coming to Amity Square and the Grand Underground. Players who purchase the game before February 21, 2022 can use the Mystery Gift feature to gain access to the Platinum Style outfit, as well as a Manaphy Egg.
