Insomniac is promising plenty of new PlayStation 5 features will be present in the next-gen sequel. Along with new weapons and better visuals, the studio will utilize many of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller’s new features. Ratchet and Clank will be hopping through dimensional rifts when the sequel launches, which specifically seems to show off the loading power of the console’s new SSD feature.

The PlayStation 5 presentation included more Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart gameplay than what was shown in the announcement trailer. Skip to 1:12:20 in the full presentation video below to see the extended look.

The last video game entry in the series to release was a soft reboot in 2016.

Sony originally scheduled its PlayStation 5 event to take place last week but rescheduled the premiere amid Black Lives Matter protests across the world. Sony eventually went on to reschedule the event to take place today.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has not been given a release window yet, so stay tuned for more information on the game, the DualSense controller, and the PlayStation 5.
