Xbox has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass for Console on May 7. The game has won over 175 Game of the Year Awards and received over 250 perfect scores.
Red Dead Redemption 2 includes free access to Red Dead Online, as well as additional Story Mode content and a fully featured Photo Mode. Players can prep their Xbox Game Pass mobile app for May 7 and remotely install Red Dead Redemption 2 on their consoles. While the PC version of the game launched last November, there has been no indication yet about it coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC.
It was also announced that another one of Rockstar’s titles, Grand Theft Auto V, will be leaving Xbox Game Pass for Console on May 7. However, Game Pass members can purchase Grand Theft Auto V for up to a 20% discount while the game is still in the Game Pass library.
Microsoft is currently running a deal for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. First-time subscribers will be able to try out the service for $1 for the first month. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold, as well as both Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC. The typical price for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is $14.99 per month.
