It’s here. Rocksteady Studios has teased after years of silence that it is working on a Suicide Squad game. On Aug. 22, Rocksteady will provide more information about the game during the DC FanDome event.
Rocksteady posted an image of what looks to be Superman with the words “Suicide Squad” assembled in a crosshairs function on the back of his head. No other information has been revealed about the game at this point.
Rumors of a Suicide Squad game have been around for a while, but last month, Eurogamer noted that its name would reportedly be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Given the teaser image with Superman in crosshairs, that seems like an accurate premise.

In the report, domain names were registered too, including “SuicideSquadGame.com” back on June 16 also and “GothamKnightsGame.com,” which reportedly is related to Warner Bros. Montreal’s upcoming Batman game based on the Court of Owls that was teased back in January.
Both the Suicide Squad and Batman games are reportedly aiming for a next-generation release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Additionally, while it is now confirmed that this secretive game will be shown at the DC FanDome event, we might not see much of it; it is said to be further away from launch than the Gotham Knights game.
