Scarface Earns Guinness Record For Foul Language

“You know what? **** you! How about that?”

Scarface: The World is Yours was critically lauded for its gameplay when it came out, though it was also somewhat infamous for the amount of mature content the game contained. While there was plenty of violence, it turns out that the game’s swearing was prevalent enough to set a Guinness World Record.

As it turns out, Racial Entertainment’s game contained over 5,000 instances of explicit language. Guinness World Records: 2011 Gamer’s Edition also includes a ton of other world records, like who the most popular game character is (Mario, according to 13,000 gamers who were polled) and what the largest number of gamers to play a karaoke game is (10,490).

Up until now, I was under the impression that House of the Dead: Overkill held the record for potty-mouth antics, but I guess I was wrong.
