Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that Croteam’s Serious Sam Collection will release on Nov. 17 for Nintendo Switch. This collection previously launched on Google Stadia this past April and will take you on a journey defeating aliens from the ancient ruins of Egypt all the way to the arenas in South America. The compilation will include Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3: BFE, with the latter two containing The Legend of the Beast and Jewel of the Nile expansions respectively.
Serious Sam Collection will feature 4-player local co-op as well as other multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. The 4.1 GB game will cost $29.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. As per usual, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to use some online features, and it will support its Save Data Cloud service.
There’s no word on whether this collection will arrive on other current-generation or next-generation consoles as well. However, the latest entry in the series, Serious Sam 4, is currently out on Google Stadia and PC. It is a timed exclusive on Stadia and will launch on consoles in 2021.
