A new cinematic trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V was showcased, with Lucifer providing some monologue about the game’s plot:

“The God you worship is dead. Order itself has crumbled, and chaos shall reign over all. And within the throes of chaos, the world can be reborn, a future yet unknown. In a world without its Creator, which path shall you choose? Follow your will and choose your destiny.”

TheĀ Shin Megami Tensei V trailer shows presumably a young man walking in what appears to be a train station. He then comes in contact with Lucifer and his army of demons. A mysterious blue figure comes down from the sky, and the trailer ends with the young man joining hands with him.

Atlus also announced that the third entry in the series, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, will be remastered in HD for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 as Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster and will release in spring 2021. The game was originally released for PlayStation 2 back in 2003.

Shin Megami Tensei V was announced back in 2017 to be in development exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
