Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 comes as the latest in a long series of strategic video games from CI Games. The Ghost Warrior leg of the franchise got its start in 2010 with Sniper: Ghost Warrior, with Ghost Warrior 2 and 3 following in 2013 and 2017, respectively. The first Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, a mission-based game that left behind the more open structure of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, arrived in 2019.

With Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, CI Games is looking to continue building on the formulas it created in 2019. On the game’s Steam page, the developer promises “the most challenging entry to the acclaimed series yet” as players make their way through its modern-day campaign. You play as Raven, a contract sniper assassin with eyes set on dismantling a crime syndicate located along the Lebanese and Syrian borders.
