Some additional details regarding Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales have been revealed. Creative directors Bryan Intihar and Brian Horton spoke to Entertainment Weekly. Despite the title being a shortened experience akin to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Intihar said “it has a lot of heart.” Additionally, Horton explained that Miles will have a complete arc in the game. “We really are completing this hero’s coming of age in our game. It is a complete story.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place during winter one year after the events of 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man. Both an energy corporation and a criminal organization are disrupting Miles’ home life, and it seems like he will have to put a stop to it.
Horton went on to say that Miles will be his own version of Spider-Man, complete with movements, animation, and powers that are unique to him. While Miles is being trained by Peter Parker, the former’s origin story is different; his story is “born out of family” and Peter’s “out of tragedy.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is set to release this holiday for the PlayStation 5. The title will support 4K/60 FPS and reportedly comes with a remaster of the 2018 game.
