Star Wars Battlefront 2 to Receive Planet Felucia & 4-Player Co-Op

Star Wars Battlefront 2, Felucia

A recent Star Wars Battlefront 2 community update has revealed a sneak peek at some new modes, a new playable character, and the fungal planet of Felucia.

Two minutes of footage were shown so that players can get an idea as to what will be in the game’s latest content update. The best part? Everything shown in the video will be available for Star Wars Battlefront 2 players starting tomorrow.

Felucia is yet another reminder of the Battlefront series’s ability to put players in the middle of some of Star Wars’ most iconic battlefields. The planet is fuming with deadly environmental hazards that couple with the world’s stunning sounds and colors.

The versatile Clone Commando, Star Wars Battlefront 2’s new character, is “suited to take on tougher foes” and can damage enemies to regain some lost health.

In terms of new mode offerings, Instant Action will allow solo players to take on bots while capturing objectives, and 4-player online co-op features a PvE adventure setting that will see comrades pushing against enemy forces on famous Clone Wars maps.

With The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker just around the corner, the team no doubt has even more content planned for the future.

All of the new content will be available to download for free tomorrow, Sept. 25.
