Let’s finally put an end to the “console vs. PC” debate with some good old Street Fighting.
Street Fighter V‘s second beta is set to kick off starting October 22, and hopefully this time around things will run a lot smoother. Fans will get to test out some of the game’s newly revealed fighters, but perhaps the biggest draw this time around is the testing of the game’s much-touted “crossplay” feature.
From October 24-25, PC gamers will be able to download the beta client and finally settle the “console vs. PC” debate with their PS4 brethren. To play on PC, you’ll have to have pre-ordered the game on Steam, and have your machine meet the minimum system requirements, which are as follows:
Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 480, GTX 570, GTX 670, or better
Recommended:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690K @3.50GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960
When the beta launches, Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika will be selectable. Rashid will be added in on day two (October 23) and Karin added on day three (October 24). The characters from the previous beta: Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash and M. Bison will not be selectable this time around.
Be sure to check out Capcom’s official blog post on the beta to find more information on when and how you can access it in your specific region.
