Surviving Slender Man – A Scrapbook of Growing Madness

I received a mysterious package from Midnight City yesterday containing nothing but a battered notebook filled to the brim with mysterious drawings, photographs, emails, and hand-written notes. It’s one of the most impressive pieces of promotional material I’ve ever seen, particularly because it was very clearly assembled by hand.

Instantly recognizable to fans of the Slender games as the pages you’re looking to collect in The Arrival, this was too masterfully crafted not to share.

It’s hard to tell if these notes are printed or handwritten, but the backs of the notes appears to show ink bleedthrough, indicating they may well have been made by hand.

Creepy barn is creepy.

This old timey photo actually looks faded around the edges, which is probably just a fancy print job, but still very cool.

The sticky note was actually on the outside of the notebook. This was my doing. The drawing may have been printed, but the crayon fire is legit.

An esoteric message from CR.

The number-ruled paper is a nice touch for this middle school photo.

Another note about hallucinations and an envelope full of photographs. Check them out on the next page.

“No No No No No No.”

Pages seven and eight.

99% sure this is actually hand written with marker.

Another assuredly hand-crafted note. The plot thickens.

Finally found a non-email note that’s definitely printed.

I’ll admit, I was a little disappointed that they didn’t use actual fire to achieve this. On the other hand, number 13 is once again definitely by hand.

Oh man, the note on the left is infinitely more creepy when you realize it’s scribbled with an actual pencil. Smeared graphite on both pages and my finger prove that.
