The Sony State of Play has come and gone. And while there were some cool announcements here and there, only one packed Turtle Power. The stupendous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection was revealed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC, and it is a doozy. A whopping 13 games are included in the package, and they range from the NES to the arcade. Digital Eclipse put together this collection.

Yes, that is the SNES version of Turtles in Time with the extra levels not included in the arcade version! Don’t mind me, I’m only crying because I’ve been waiting literal years for that to happen.
The collection also includes the following features:

- New Gameplay Modes : Boss Rush and Challenge Mode
- Eleven Japanese Regional Titles – Release Versions

This announcement means the world to me. I spent a huge chunk of my childhood playing these games with my friends, from the 8-bit to 16-bit generation, so I’m happy to do so again all these years later.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will arrive in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC, retailing for $39.99. Between this and Shredder’s Revenge also launching this year, we’re running high on nostalgia!
