Dr. Gordon Freeman may not be a medical doctor, but he’s still pretty good at putting people down. In the original Half-Life he spent more time creating inter dimensional rifts than writing prescriptions. His main focus was on theoretical physics, these help him take full advantage of the Gravity Gun and running away from bad guys. Whenever I play as Dr. Freeman he spends most of his time running away from the danger, like a real doctor.

Guilty Gear‘s Dr. Baldhead, also known as Faust, was once a prominent doctor who spent his time saving lives, until one fateful day when he loses a patient in surgery. This doesn’t sit well with the doctor and the goes on a killing spree which ends with his imprisonment. This isn’t the end of his story; there’s much much more involving a giant scalpel.

If you’ve played any of the Sonic games then you’re more than aware of Dr. Eggman, or Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik. This evil genius just wants some Chaos Emeralds, and to enslave all of the animals on South Island. If you aren’t a fan all you really have to do is hit him eight times and then he should disappear.

The plumber turned Doctor, Dr. Mario, turned his attention to medication after he saved the princess. This game helped a generation become pill addicts, thank you plumber that really had no place sorting medication. He’s like someone that sneaks behind the pharmacists counter and pretends he’s a legit pharmacist, when in reality they’re just a delusional plumber.

If you’ve ever played an indie game called League of Legends then you’ve heard of the next entry on the list, Dr. Mundo. This isn’t your traditional doctor, he tends to use a cleaver rather than a scalpel. If you see his cleaver headed your direction I would suggest that you get out of the way because it’s not there to heal you, it will end up hurting you and slowing you down.

Borderlands Dr. Zed isn’t technically a doctor, but at one point he was. Now he maintains medical vending machines around Pandora, when not doing that he’s most likely mangling corpses that he’s found. He was originally found living in the small town of Fyrestone, but that doesn’t last long as he relocates to New Haven for safety from Hyperion.

Dr. Salvador, or Chainsaw Man to his friends, exists in the Resident Evil 4 universe. He’s not the most popular character in the series, hell, when you decapitate a beloved character it tends to make you look kind of crazy. It doesn’t help that you go around with a sack over your head while wielding a chainsaw. All of that adds up to some serious crazy, so you should really find a different doctor in your insurance’s network.

This isn’t a video game character, this is former Nazi dentist Dr. Szell. He exists in the movie Marathon Man, and just wants to know if it is safe. If you’re looking for a good ‘ol terrifying movie for Halloween we suggest that you look no further than the Nazi Dentist classic Marathon Man.
