Bungie is giving Destiny 2 fans a little longer to play the open beta.
The Destiny 2 Open Beta is underway now. Yes, it was supposed to end last night, but Bungie has extended the beta through Tuesday to all allow for “additional service testing.” The announce came in post on Twitter yesterday.
The Destiny 2 Open Beta has been extended through Tuesday 7/25 for additional service testing. Expected completion is 6 PM PDT.— Bungie Help (@BungieHelp) July 23, 2017
The beta includes the game’s opening story mission, “Homecoming,” one Strike, “The Inverted Spire,” and two PvP modes: Control (featured in the first Destiny) and Countdown, a brand new mode for the sequel. It also includes matchmaking, so you can play with other beta testers. There’s no character progression, though, and nothing you do in the beta will carry over to the final game.
The new end time for the Destiny 2 beta is “expected” to be tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25, at 6 PM ET.
