Star Wars Celebration continues. First, Lucasfilm dropped the teaser trailer for Andor, a series that serves as a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Next up, it has announced a February 2023 release date window for The Mandalorian season 3 on Disney+. If there were somehow any doubt whatsoever, it has also confirmed that Grogu is back for more surrogate father-son adventures with Din Djarin.
The end of The Mandalorian season 2 had suggested that Mando and Grogu were destined to go their separate ways so that Luke Skywalker could train Grogu in the ways of the Force. Then The Book of Boba Fett happened, which unexpectedly became The Mandalorian season 2.5, and it basically reset the status quo. So now you can look forward to many more touching moments between a puppet and a dude who almost never takes his helmet off.

Andor premieres at the end of August and will run for 12 episodes, which should take us roughly through November. The release date of episode 1 of The Mandalorian season 3 isn’t too far off after that. Meanwhile, Ahsoka is currently filming and expected to arrive in 2023. Beyond that, there is The Acolyte and the kids-on-an-adventure Star Wars show, which has just been revealed as Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. As usual, there is a lot of Star Wars coming to Disney+.
