Mike Bithell has announced his new game called The Solitaire Conspiracy. His studio, Bithell Games, has been responsible for other titles in the past such as Thomas Was Alone, John Wick Hex, and Subsurface Circular.
The Solitaire Conspiracy is a new take on classic solitaire based on the Streets and Alleys variant that will have features to accommodate suit-based powers. The spy agency Protego has been destroyed, and it’s up to the player to take back control. Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller plays Protego’s analyst, Jim Ratio, and Inel Tomlinson voices Diamond. They will guide the player throughout the game.
So… what if Solitaire, but extra, with powers and a full FMV storied campaign, time attack and skirmish modes!https://t.co/y2ajsbnNqL

There are eight different spy crews each with a unique power to utilize when playing solitaire. There are also three different modes. The campaign introduces the mechanics of the game, while Countdown is a wave-based endurance mode. After completing the campaign and unlocking all the crews, Skirmish provides an infinite amount of solitaire matches to play.
Being a card game, some players may be wary that it may contain microtransactions. Fortunately, Bithell Games has confirmed that the game will not have any microtransactions. However, the studio may come up with purchasable DLC in the future.
The Solitaire Conspiracy launches on PC via Steam on Oct. 6.
