Telltale’s The Walking Dead and the 400 Days DLC are coming to Ouya, and the first episode will be completely free.
Telltale’s take on The Walking Dead, as you may have heard, is pretty good stuff. Our own review refers to it as “perhaps one of the best examples of the genre ever made,” which is pretty high praise no matter how you slice it up, and the preview for the DLC expansion 400 Days sounds just as good. And now they’re both on their way to the Ouya.
“We’re excited to bring The Walking Dead to Ouya,” Telltale’s Steve Allison said. “Telltale is a platform agnostic company and we love adding new platforms to our mix.”
Based on the award-winning comic series and originally released in 2012 , The Walking Dead has claimed more than 90 “Game of the Year” awards. All five episodes of The Walking Dead: Season One as well as 400 Days will be released later this year, with the first episode completely free to play. Telltale says it will release the second season on Ouya as well.
