Topical Tuesday: Are You a Nerd, Geek or Dork?

image

The terms geek, dork and nerd are often used disparagingly; so many insults that recess-yard school bullies throw at their victims. In Issue 274 of The Escapist, we take a closer look at those terms, declaring them once and for all as monikers you can be proud of. We’d like to know what makes you a nerd, dork, or geek? Have you been the star in all the school plays? Do you DM multiple tabletop campaigns? Does your math teacher ask you if his answer is correct? Does your t-shirt have a picture of the periodic table, a Stephen Hawking quote or a complex mathematical equation?

In the following thread, introduce yourself, let us know if you are a nerd, dork, or geek, and then tell us how you earned that title.

If you’re not quite sure how to classify yourself, then chime in and let us know how you define each term. What’s the difference between a nerd and a geek – or a dork, for that matter?
