Ubisoft’s adventure game Gods & Monsters has seemingly been renamed, as indicated by a new listing. As reported by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has rated a game called Immortals: Fenyx Rising by Ubisoft for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. Gods & Monsters follows a protagonist named Fenyx, but Ubisoft has not officially announced a name change yet.
However, industry analyst Daniel Ahmad has commented that Immortals: Fenyx Rising is indeed the new name for Gods & Monsters:
It is. https://t.co/YlNeFMCeAi

This game is also slated to come to Google Stadia, where earlier this year an old demo build was accidentally left playable on the streaming platform for less than half an hour. The title was first announced at E3 2019 and originally slated to release on Feb. 25, 2020.
However, as a result of the poor critical and commercial performance of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ubisoft decided to delay its upcoming titles, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters, in order to improve them.
Hopefully, this listing means that Immortals: Fenyx Rising news will be arriving soon. Ubisoft has confirmed that it will hold its next Ubisoft Forward digital event in September, so there’s a good chance an official announcement about the name change and release date will be there.
