Batman: Arkham Origins: Now with more ninjas!
UPDATE: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that the Initiation Challenge Pack DLC will also be available in North America on December 3.
What does Batman: Arkham Origins need? The WB Games Montreal team says; “more challenge maps!” The “Initiation Challenge Pack”, the next DLC for Arkham Origins, will come to PSN, Xbox Live, the Nintendo E-Shop and PC tomorrow, December 3. The pack feature series of challenge maps channeling Batman’s actual origin story: Players control pre-Batman Bruce Wayne as he fights waves of ninjas to get the high score.
As for the pack’s narrative context, here’s the official description straight from WB Games:
“Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test. Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Fans will face fresh enemies along with an epic final test to prove their worthiness to Bruce’s greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.”
The new DLC pack also throws in two new skins: “Initiation Bruce” and “Vigilante Bruce Wayne.” The pack will cost $6.99 on all platforms and is included in the Batman: Arkham Origins season pass.
